ergoPouch Sleep Articles from 2022
Raising a little human isn't easy. From well-meaning friends, to experts and baby brands comes a slew of advice and information, some of it misleading and some downright dangerous.
ergoPouch work with experts in the field of sleep solutions to offer your family no-nonsense help and support along your sleep journey from birth to five years. If there is a topic that we haven’t covered and you would like some advice, please let us know.
All healthy newborn babies are in fact born capable of drifting off to sleep when their basic needs are met, and when they are in the ideal conditions in which to do so.
And when they do, it’s magical.
However, this may not happen all the time and it is absolutely OK to offer hands-on settling support when your little one can’t quite do it by themself.
From day one, ergoPouch has strongly believed in organic, natural fiber products that care for your child as much as the environment. ‘Organic’ and ‘sustainable’ are woven into the fabric of our brand, our business and our DNA, not just our sleeping bags and sleepwear.
Our new Baby Tuck Sheet is a firm-fitting mattress sleeve designed for newborns who are not rolling. Designed to use over the top of a swaddle or sleeping bag, the Baby Tuck Sheet provides added security, comfort and warmth during sleep. The Baby Tuck Sheet has been stringently tested and approved as safe by leading Australian safety organization INPAA and follows Red Nose safe sleep guidelines for baby bedding.
We've reached that time of year where the nights are lighter, and the sun is setting late (hello summer, and balmy nights ahead!). This time change is a crowd-pleaser, we technically lose an extra hour of sleep but we gain summer!
While moving the clock forward one hour is something that makes us sleepy for a couple of days, our adult bodies adjust to the change reasonably quick.
The "coming home from hospital outfit" is a significant moment in any new parent and newborn babes’ life. When packing your hospital bag for your unborn baby, it's the outfit you fold neatly with excitement and nerves all rolled into one cute little package.
