Questions on safe sleep recommendations or just need support on avoiding the dreaded witching hour? Need help on what TOG, style and/or size is right for bub? Not only do we aim to take the guesswork out of choosing the right sleeping garment for your baby through our ‘Help Me Choose’ section on our website, but we are also always here to help answer any questions, as well as to help guide and support you through your little one's sleep journey with our Customer Service/ Sleep Concierge. You can talk to us by chat or email, and our experienced team can help you figure out what product is right for you based on your child’s age, stage, circumstances and room temperatures.
Warmer weather is ahead, and with that, we have just launched our SS21 collection. Click here to view the lookbook featuring our 0.2 TOG and 0.3 TOG solutions - our lightest warmth for comfortable sleep during summer. The lookbook also includes helpful tips and guides to dress your baby whatever the temperature may be.
For unpredictable climates or transeasonal nights, when it is warm at bed time but cools down during the course of the night, put your baby to sleep in their sleep bag as normal, and add the Arm Warmers later in the evening before bedtime. The perfect add-on to keep baby extra snug without disturbing sleep. We recommend the Arm Warmers are only used over a sleeveless sleeping bag, not one with sleeves. This will help your child maintain a comfortable temperature while sleeping and ensure they do not overheat.
All pouch orders include a free room thermometer and dressing guide - which measures the actual temperature of your baby’s room and recommends the right warmth and thickness (AKA TOG) to wear for that particular temperature. Oh-so-helpful for sleep-deprived brains!
What is a TOG?
A TOG stands for Thermal Overall Grade and is a unit of measurement for insulation and warmth of sleepwear and bedding. Put simply, the lower the TOG rating, the lighter the fabric. The higher the rating, the more padded and insulated it is. With TOG-rated sleepwear, you do not need additional blankets in your child’s sleep space.
What pouch do I need?
It will depend on the age and development of your child. We have an ergoPouch product suitable for different stages, newborns right through to 6 years old.
