For unpredictable climates or transeasonal nights, when it is warm at bed time but cools down during the course of the night, put your baby to sleep in their sleep sack as normal, and add the Arm Warmers later in the evening before bedtime. They're the perfect add-on to keep baby extra snug without disturbing sleep. We recommend the Arm Warmers are only used over a sleeveless sleep sack, not one with sleeves. This will help your child maintain a comfortable temperature while sleeping and ensure they do not overheat.
All pouch orders include a free room thermometer and dressing guide - which measures the actual temperature of your baby’s room and recommends the right warmth and thickness (AKA TOG) to wear for that particular temperature. Oh-so-helpful for sleep-deprived brains!
What is a TOG?
A TOG stands for Thermal Overall Grade and is a unit of measurement for insulation and warmth of sleepwear and bedding. Put simply, the lower the TOG rating, the lighter the fabric. The higher the rating, the more padded and insulated it is. With TOG-rated sleepwear, you do not need additional blankets in your child’s sleep space. Learn more about TOG ratings.
