Matchy Matchy Robe Berries

Prior to buying this robe I had been looking for something that's soft and stretchy with loose sleeves. I was very happy with it although I wished the belt was attached to the robe. The problem came this morning at 5am when I was trying to cinch the inside straps that secure the left side of the robe to right side before you close the robe. When I first received the robe, I thought it was odd they used this flimsy ribbon material for the straps but since I wasn't going to use them much, I didn't give it much thought. Today might have been the 3rd time of me using them as I knew I was going to have my hands full handling an early-rising toddler and wanted extra security for the robe. I pulled on the right-side strap lightly and it came off completely! Upon close examination, the weave in the strap completely came apart just like a cheep holiday ribbon because there was very little structural integrity. At this point I am annoyed and disappointed. I can fix it by sewing another strap in its place. But I find this goes against the quality of all the baby-kids clothing I have bought from ergoPouch. All the sleepsuits and pajamas I've bought for my kids are virtually indestructible - every part of them. They survived an active first child and are serving the 2nd child beautifully. For this robe to have a part that's meant to be purely functional to cease functioning so quickly (at a personally aggravating time) is unfortunate.
